Your guide starts at the royal palace, then takes you to Taman Saraswati and its lotus pond, and on to the Sacred Monkey Forest, where about 750 macaques live around the Pura Dalem Agung temple. The morning ends at an art museum, such as the Neka or ARMA, with the story of Ubud's painters and the artists who settled here.

If you wish, we reserve seats for an evening of Balinese dance in the palace courtyard. For families we shorten the walk and make the Monkey Forest the main stop.
