Discover Changi
Changi Airport lies at Singapore's eastern edge, about 24 kilometres from the city centre: the first thing you see of the country and the last you leave. It is more than a place to pass through, and worth time of its own.
The reason is Jewel, designed by Moshe Safdie and opened in 2019, linking Terminals 1, 2 and 3. Under its glass dome the Rain Vortex falls 40 metres, the tallest indoor waterfall in the world. Around it the Forest Valley holds some 3,000 trees over five storeys, and at the top is Canopy Park, with its mazes and suspended nets. About 300 shops and restaurants fill the levels below.
In the evening the waterfall becomes a free light and music show at 8 pm and 9 pm, with a 10 pm show from Friday to Sunday, and Jewel makes a calm last evening before a night flight. Crowne Plaza Changi Airport sits in the arrival hall of Terminal 3, so your first night after a long flight, or your last before home, can be spent a few steps from the gate.
If you wish, we meet you on arrival and take care of formalities, luggage and car, so you go from your seat to your hotel without waiting.
