Dining Beneath the Sea

Lunch or dinner
All year; lunch has the best light

The Maldives has several restaurants beneath the surface. The best known is Ithaa at Rangali, the first all-glass undersea restaurant, open since 2005 and taking guests from outside the resort. Anantara Kihavah has SEA, six metres down, and Niyama has Subsix, 500 metres offshore.

Seats are few, so we book your table with the stay itself, and request a halal menu.

Good to know

  • Dinner at Ithaa is for ages 14 and over; lunch is for all ages
  • Book with the stay, as seats are few
