Jebel Jais

A full day
November to March

Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah rises to about 1,934 m, the highest point in the UAE, and in winter its summit is far cooler than the coast. The road up is one of the finest mountain drives in the region, with viewing decks and walking trails at the top.

For the adventurous, Jais Flight launches from 1,680 m along 2.83 km of cable, a world record when it opened in 2018. For those who prefer the view in peace, 1484 by Puro, the country's highest restaurant, serves lunch facing the Hajar range.

Good to know

  • About an hour from the Al Marjan Island resorts
  • The zipline has age and weight limits
  • Bring a light jacket in winter
