A Thai-style resort on a 400-metre private beach on Palm Jumeirah, with the Middle East's first overwater villas and rooms set around three swimming lagoons. Six restaurants, a spa with Turkish and Moroccan hammams, and clubs for children and teenagers.
A Thai-inspired oasis
The resort runs along 400 metres of private beach, with wide views over the Arabian Gulf and the easy warmth of Thai hospitality. You choose between villas over the water, retreats on the sand, and rooms facing the lagoons, some with steps straight down into the water.
There are six well-reviewed restaurants, among them Mekong and its bold flavours, and the Anantara Spa, with separate hammam facilities for women and men.
Days are spent in the sun, by the main pool or out along the coast on a paddleboard or kayak. Younger children have creative activities at the Tuk-Tuk Kids Club, and teenagers their own space at the Chill Teens club. A free shuttle runs to nearby malls and sights.
