Designed by Moshe Safdie and opened in 2019, Jewel links Terminals 1, 2 and 3. At its centre the Rain Vortex falls 40 metres; around it the Forest Valley holds some 3,000 trees, with Canopy Park, its mazes and bridges, at the top, and about 300 shops and restaurants. In the evening a free light and music show plays on the waterfall at 8 pm and 9 pm, and at 10 pm too from Friday to Sunday, a fine way to spend the hours before a night flight home.
