A private bumboat on the river and the bay at dusk
A traditional wooden bumboat reserved for you alone, from Clarke Quay down the Singapore River into Marina Bay, timed for the evening lights.

The experience
The traditional wooden bumboat is the best way to see the city from the Singapore River. We charter a whole boat, which takes up to 42 passengers, so the trip is for your family, or the two of you, alone.
You board at the Clarke Quay or Merlion Park jetty. In about 40 minutes the boat passes the old shophouses of Clarke Quay and Boat Quay, slides under the white iron bridges, goes past the Fullerton Building, and then the bay opens out with its towers and Marina Bay Sands.
We time the trip for sunset, or for Spectra, the light and water show staged in front of Marina Bay Sands at 8 pm and 9 pm, with a third show at 10 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. When you step ashore, the waterfront restaurants are a short walk away.
The cruise can open a longer evening: dinner on the bay, or the observation deck afterwards. Your car waits at the jetty where you land.
