The journey begins in Saint Petersburg, in an aristocratic palace built in 1853 opposite Palace Square and the Hermitage, now the Grand Hotel Moika 22. In June the sky never darkens, and the evenings pass between the Mariinsky and a late dinner, then a private boat on the Neva at midnight to watch the bridges rise.
Then you fly south to Sochi and the Swissôtel Resort Sochi Kamelia on the Black Sea. Days on the shore in warm water, a day in the Caucasus on the Rosa Khutor gondola to a summit at 2,320 m, and quiet evenings by the sea.
Day 1
Arrival via Moscow, or direct where a service operates, then a private welcome and the Grand Hotel Moika 22 opposite Palace Square. A walk by the Neva under a sky that never darkens.
Day 2
A private visit to the Hermitage and the Winter Palace in the first hours, and a rest in the afternoon. Near midnight, a private boat on the Neva to watch the Palace Bridge rise.
Day 3
The hydrofoil to Peterhof, the Grand Cascade and the Samson fountain, then lunch and a long walk through the Lower Park above the Gulf of Finland.
Day 4
Saint Isaac's Cathedral, the Church of the Saviour on Spilled Blood and the canals. In the evening, a Stars of the White Nights performance, then a late dinner.
Day 5
A domestic flight to Sochi and the Swissôtel Resort Sochi Kamelia. Sunset over the Black Sea from your terrace.
Day 6
A morning on the shore, and in the afternoon a walk among the tropical trees of the Sochi Arboretum.
Day 7
A private car to Krasnaya Polyana, then the Rosa Khutor gondola to a summit at 2,320 m and the green Caucasus meadows, with lunch at a mountain restaurant.
Day 8
A free day for the resort and its spa, and in the evening a private dinner by the sea.
Day 9
The drive to Sochi airport and the flight home, via Moscow or direct where a service operates.
