Grand Hotel Moika 22 occupies an aristocratic mansion built in 1853, opposite Palace Square and the Hermitage, on one of the finest historic addresses in St Petersburg. It was formerly run under the Kempinski name and has traded under its current name since 2022.
In the European tradition of hospitality, it has 200 rooms, 29 of them suites.
Classic decoration, carefully chosen antiques and European paintings of the 17th to 19th centuries give each suite its own character. Many rooms look onto Palace Square, the Hermitage, the General Staff Building, the Moika embankment and the historic centre.
The antiques catch your eye as soon as you step inside, and original artworks, vintage photographs and classic prints throughout the rooms and public spaces recall the great houses of imperial St Petersburg.
