About Grand Park Kodhipparu, Maldives

An award-winning North Malé Atoll island of 120 beach and water villas designed by HBA, 65 with private pools. An over-water spa, PADI diving, water sports and family excursions.

An island minutes from the capital

This award-winning resort is only 20 minutes by speedboat from the airport, yet it has everything you come to the Maldives for: white beaches, clear water, beach and water villas designed by Hirsch Bedner Associates, good restaurants and a spa over the lagoon.

Water villas near Malé

There are 120 villas on the one island, Maldivian in spirit and modern in finish, in three families: beach, ocean and lagoon. 65 have a private pool. From a water villa you hear the waves from the deck or the pool, and the reef is a few steps away.

The beach villas sit in thick greenery, close to the sand and the resort's facilities. For more space, the Grand Residences have two bedrooms, a living room, an infinity pool with a panoramic ocean view and a private outdoor dining area.

What to do

The activity list is one of the longest in the Maldives. There is diving and water sport for the adventurous, private dinners for honeymooners and couples, excursions and a daily programme for families, and plenty of space to do nothing.

Diving: North Malé Atoll is rich in marine life and well-known dive sites. The fully equipped dive centre is staffed by PADI professionals and offers:

  • Guided snorkelling
  • Recreational dives for certified divers
  • PADI courses from beginner to advanced
  • Specialty dive adventures
  • Diving programmes for children

Water sports: water-skiing, jet-skiing, parasailing, paddling, surfing, windsurfing, sailing and more.

Excursions:

  • Traditional Maldivian fishing
  • Dhoni cruises to see dolphins and the sunset
  • A visit to Malé for local life and culture

Daily entertainment: the beach club runs a daily programme and is a good place to unwind or spend time indoors by the sea.

Wellness

Rest and renewal

The award-winning spa takes a whole-life approach to balance, with Asian techniques drawn from Ayurvedic and Balinese healing and natural, eco-friendly, paraben-free products by Phytomer. There are seven over-water treatment rooms facing the lagoon, a beauty salon for nails and hair, a relaxation room with healthy drinks, signature treatments for body and mind, and a shop of natural skin and body care that includes reef-safe sunscreen.
