JOALI BEING
An entire island given over to wellbeing, in Raa Atoll
Overwater villas
About JOALI BEING
The Maldives' first dedicated wellbeing island: 68 villas, each with its own butler, 40 minutes by seaplane from Malé. Programmes are built on four pillars: mind, skin, microbiome and energy.
The first wellbeing island in the Maldives
JOALI BEING was built around a single idea: that wellbeing is a way of living rather than a treatment menu. The island asks you to slow down, to be present, and to let each day take its own shape.
The approach
The team meets you where you are. Some guests come for energetic mornings and new skills, others for long, quiet days in an overwater or beach villa. Nutrition, movement and learning are all tailored to your habits and to what you hope to take home.
Four pillars
Ancient practice and modern science sit side by side in every programme, which is built on four pillars:
- Mind: self-expression and emotional balance.
- Skin: confidence, radiance and renewal.
- Microbiome: the foundation of immunity and overall health.
- Energy: vitality drawn from mindful movement.
The island
JOALI BEING occupies Bodufushi, a secluded island in Raa Atoll ringed by clear lagoons, clean beaches and coconut palms, 40 minutes by seaplane from Malé. There are 68 villas, each looked after by its own butler, known here as a jadugar.

Dining
At the table
FLOW, the island's open culinary hub, holds three kitchens under one roof, and MOJO and the Japanese restaurant Yutori complete the picture. Every menu is written with the resort's nutritionists, so eating well never means eating less well.
