About JOALI Maldives
An art-led resort on Muravandhoo in Raa Atoll, where every water and beach villa has its own story. Six restaurants, the JOALI BEING Cure spa and plenty to keep children busy.
An art-filled island in Raa Atoll
You notice it first on the jetty: a lightness, the ocean breeze on your skin, sand soft underfoot. JOALI Maldives sets out to keep that feeling going for the length of your stay.
The resort is an island of ivory beaches and deep blue water, and it takes art as seriously as it takes comfort. Each private water and beach villa tells its own story, and each is built with a clear commitment to sustainable design.
The island
JOALI Maldives sits on Muravandhoo, in Raa Atoll in the north of the country. A deep barrier reef encircles the atoll, which keeps its coral and fish life unusually rich. Expect bright blue water and white beaches shaded by coconut palms.
Artworks are placed all over the island, so a walk to dinner or the beach becomes a small journey of discovery.
The destination
The Maldives is a scatter of 1,190 small islands across the Indian Ocean. Muravandhoo is one of the greener ones: dense with palms and wrapped in lagoons full of marine life.
Dining
There are six restaurants, a kitchen and an interactive dining room. Food here is a way of sharing the island's joie de vivre, with authentic flavours and local ingredients at the centre of every menu.
The villas
Whether you come for quiet luxury, a romantic escape or a family gathering, the range of villas lets you choose the view you wake up to.
JOALI BEING Cure
The spa offers treatments shaped around you, designed to leave you rested and renewed.
Children at JOALI
Activities mix learning, creativity and play, and the island has its own artisanal ice-cream shop.
Island art
An interactive collection of work celebrates craft and creativity, for collectors and the simply curious alike.

Dining
At the table
Menus here are created with Michelin-starred chefs, and you can eat over the water or on the sand, with entertainment that keeps families happy. Chef Kapil Sharma leads the kitchens, pairing global influences with close attention to flavour, texture and colour. Ingredients are fresh, local where possible and ethically sourced, so the menus read like a guide to the Maldives' own larder.
